Craft beer festivals aren’t anything new. They happen just about every week in every large city. But every once in a while, there is a beer fest that makes me wonder why I didn’t think of that first. This is one of those kind of events. The 450 North Brewing Corn Maze Beer Fest is something you’ve got to check out.

Who is 450 North Brewing?
A good place to start is to learn about the brewery. 450 North Brewing has been around since 2012.
They operate a 10 barrel brew system and have 20 beers on tap in their taproom. You can look forward to canned beer releases from them too.
They’ve come to be know for their amazing New England IPAs, decadent pastry stouts and heavily fruited Berliner Weisse. Follow me on Instagram to see more and read my thoughts.
In addition, they have a restaurant in the taproom that features brick oven pizza and other options to keep your appetite satisfied while checking out their beer, cider and wine selections.
Being in Columbus, Indiana, they service the local area and distribute their beer to select retailers in the area. If you get the chance, visit them.

450 North Brewing Corn Maze Beer Fest
If visiting the brewery and restaurant wasn’t justification enough to go check out 450 North Brewing, their Corn Maze Beer Fest is.
This is literally a one of a kind event so don’t go looking for another event quite like this because you won’t find it. In 2019, it will be on October 5th from 12pm – 5pm. Make sure you read to the end and find out how you can get tickets today.
The 450 North Brewing Corn Maze Beer Fest takes place in a custom made corn maze that is spread over 8 acres. Within the maze, you will find your way to stations pouring craft beer from over 80 breweries. That’s a lot of beer so you will want to upgrade to a VIP pass and get a full 5 hours to enjoy this event. More on the ticket options and beer later.
VIP gets into the maze at noon while General Admission starts at 1:30. Either way; you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beer and socialize with other craft beer fans.
And the fun doesn’t end after the maze is over. From 5pm – 9pm, there will be live music and food trucks to keep the event going. And of course, more craft beer.
